Breakfast was very varied for every taste. Excellent.

The main bedroom light was poor, and a bathroom light came on and off automatically, whether or not one was in the bathroom. Automation gone mad! Also the blinds cords were too high up to grab easily.

I love the laid back vibe here. No TV in your room, but cosy and comfortable.Staff are lovely and the breakfast has lots of choice. Right across from the Cathedral. It is peaceful and restful. Don't expect a traditional hotel feel, it's much more than that. Feels like a retreat instead. I went to choral evensong at the Cathedral before dinner just across the way. It was perfect.
